Turnkey Point Wiring (Material + Labor)
Scope of Work
- Wall Chasing & Piping: Mechanical wall cutting and installation of 20mm/25mm heavy-stress PVC conduits.
- Wiring: Pulling of ISI-marked, Fire Retardant (FR) Multi-strand copper wires (1.5 sq mm for lights, 2.5-4.0 sq mm for power).
- Earthing: Dedicated 1.0 sq mm green wire for safety earthing.
- Switchgear: Installation of modular metal/PVC boxes, mounting plates, and base standard modular switches/sockets.
- Finishing: Cement mortar plastering of chased grooves (ready for painting).
Technical Specs
- Standards: Phase, Neutral, and Earth separation per IS standards.
- Connections: No internal conduit joints; all connections secured inside junction boxes.
- Testing: Post-installation Insulation Resistance (IR) and polarity checks.
Support
- Warranty: 12-month service warranty on workmanship.
- Cleanup: Removal of wire strippings and basic debris.
Troubleshooting & Repair Visit
Diagnostics
- Fault Finding: Systematic check of distribution boards (DB) to identify earth leakages, short circuits, or open circuits.
- Coverage: Addresses residential power failures, sparking switches, or voltage fluctuations.
- Labor: Includes technician travel and the first 60 minutes of troubleshooting/repair time.
Rectification
- Repairs: Labor for replacing faulty switches, sockets, or single MCBs (component cost at actuals).
- Safety Fixes: Re-insulating exposed wires and tightening loose DB connections.
- Load Balancing: Phase distribution checks to prevent overload.
Safety Check
- Audit: Visual inspection of main grounding/earthing connections.
Inverter & Battery Setup
Installation
- Positioning: Placement of inverter and battery bank in ventilated areas with basic trolley setup.
- DC Cabling: Crimping and connecting heavy-gauge DC cables with terminal protection against corrosion.
- Integration: Wiring inverter output to the Main Distribution Board (DB).
Load Management
- Segregation: Separating heavy loads (Geysers, ACs) from the backup line to prevent tripping.
- Testing: Simulated power cut simulation to verify switchover and backup duration.
- Handover: Demonstration of system indicators and safety protocols.
