Founding Engineer
We are looking for a high agency engineer with strong fundamentals. Someone who can ship clean ui with great ux, create secure api's, build reliable AI agents for mytribe which has no fixed playbook and mainly use AI to ship faster.
The mission
We have an audacious vision of building Amazon for expert services. AI agents do the heavy lifting of talking to the user, understanding brief, then matching with the right providers. Humans take care of the trustwork of vetting the right providers, and make sure nothing wrong with the matches AI makes. building this Mostly is about figuring out how to build AI agents that are fast, reliable, and tasteful in a domain that never had a proper platform to solve the real problem.
What this role is about?
You will be our go to person to solving hard tech problems. We do not have any fixed set of responsibilities. We will throw all our biggest challenges at you, and you will have to figure out the solutions.
What the day in the life of a founding engineer at mytribe looks like. You'll be building AI agents that talk to the user, gather requirements, look at the profiles that we've created, and match them with the right provider. agents that talk to the provider. Agents to take care of creating a provider's profile and also updating them. Agent that creates a custom provider proposal. You will also be working on the user facing app, the provider facing tools, and the internal CRM that we have for the mytribe team. You will also get to do some really cool and interesting stuff like self-hosting open source projects, contribute to some of our open source projects as well like agent0 (a platform for managing and running prompts for all our agents), Orate (An open source dictation app powered by gemini. You message us on WhatsApp, AI reads your requirement and asks you a lot of questions. It also helps you visualize whatever ideas you have in your head and matches you with the right provider. Our curation team checks the matches before they are sent to you. We will be giving only the right few vetted providers, In a custom proposal with the real prices and availability. You can pick and hire them directly, and payments will be in escrow until the work is done.
