About mytribe

So here's the deal. We are super early stage startup — (pre-seed funded, 12 member team) — that is building the “Amazon for Expert Services”.

Today if someone has to find a good birthday decorator, interior architect, photographer, or a fitness trainer — the process is boring and time-consuming. mytribe makes this entire process seamless and fun.

What is different from the traditional approach of building such a platform? It is AI. We are rethinking everything from the ground up for the AI-age and completely discarding the old product playbook. For high-value services, the process needs human touch (let's call it sales) to give a very delightful experience.

Will I be managing people?

Even this sales and relationship management process, we're rethinking with AI. The person joining this role will act like a sales manager — but instead of people, they'll have many different AI agents reporting to them.

It's a brand-new kind of role and a glimpse of what the future of sales looks like. At steady state, you'll be closing 10× what a sales rep closes without AI — without the hustle and broken work-life balance.

What an ideal candidate looks like

For this role, we're not looking for any kind of experience. As long as the hunger is there, we think that's good. In fact, too much experience might even be a handicap toward adopting new technology. The key skills we look for are:

    Extreme user empathy A person who really cares about and listens to what the other person is saying and completely understands them — be it a customer, colleague, friend, family — anyone.

    Good IQ and reading comprehension AI agents are really smart, and you need good IQ to effectively communicate with them.

  3. 3

    Confidence and charisma This is one thing AI cannot do. If you can talk with confidence and capture people's attention, that's a great quality to have.

Among the three, point one is the major requirement.

What you'll do

  • Nurturing relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for both customers and service providers, nurturing relationships that lead to trust and repeat business.

  • Understanding hidden problems: High-value transactions are complex and users often get confused. With empathy you can build great rapport so users open up, allowing you to identify and solve their hidden problems.

  • Sell with an AI copilot: Work alongside our AI agents at every step. The AI handles research, follow-ups, and data — you focus on what really matters: understanding the customer and closing.

Salary breakdown
