I do not just stand behind a deck and hit play. Whether it is a private house party or a club gig, my job is to be the hype man. I actively use the mic to read the room, calling out tracks and jumping into the mix to keep the energy spikey from the first track until the venue shuts down.
My approach is about technical precision mixed with raw energy. I roll with industry-standard Pioneer equipment, usually the DDJ or XDJ series. This lets me blend anything from old-school 2Pac to the latest Kendrick or Afrobeats bangers without a single lag. My music library is 100% local and high-quality, so we are never at the mercy of patchy venue Wi-Fi.
When you book me for a wedding sangeet or a corporate gala, I am not just playing a background playlist. I am managing the flow of the night. For corporate events, I start with lounge-ready sets during networking and transition into high-energy dance floor hits as the evening progresses. For weddings, I double as your MC, keeping the family entertained while mixing in those Bollywood-Hip Hop fusions.
