About Seasonal & Festival Specials
Why I Bake for Every Season
Every festival in Bengaluru feels like a reason to switch on the oven. I don’t just bake cakes - I try to bring out the mood of the city, whether it’s summer or Sankranti. My kitchen is always buzzing with new ideas, especially for those limited edition festival cakes that you won’t find once the season’s gone.
Mango Mania & More
Summer means only one thing for me - mangoes everywhere! I go all out with Mango Mania desserts:
- That classic, juicy Seasonal Mango Cake
- Chilli Mango Puff for those who like a little kick
- Baked Yogurt Mango Kullad, creamy and cool
- And honestly, a bunch of other mango treats - tarts, brownies, you name it
Festivals, Bengaluru Style
For every festival, I try to add a twist:
- Ugadi? Why not cake with bevu-bella (neem-jaggery)?
- Holi gets colourful macarons
- Eid is all about Dil Pasand
- Dussehra, Onam, Christmas - I always have something sweet lined up
Not Just Big Festivals
Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, Children’s Day - I make sure there’s something fun or thoughtful for those too. Heart-shaped treats, rainbow cakes, quirky donuts - all fresh, all for a short time.
If you spot a seasonal special, better not wait too long. Once the festival’s done, so are these treats.

My Story
Started back in 2011, we’re Cakewala and Bengaluru is home. Mr. Srinivas dreamt up a bakery where you could watch us bake, smell fresh bread, and feel right at home. Festivals, cricket wins, Appu memories – we celebrate it all with you. From Jayanagar to Whitefield, our team’s grown, but it’s still about sharing a bit of nostalgia and some sweet, honest food. Mango Mania, anyone?
My Work
Fresh Bakes, Every Day - Custom cakes, seasonal pastries, puffs, buns, breads, cookies, macarons - all vegetarian, straight from our live kitchen.
Nostalgia-Inspired Menus - We turn summer memories into desserts, like our Mango Mania desserts and Baked Mango Nippatu.
Custom Cakes for Every Story - From unicorns to Appa’s birthday, we make custom themed cakes Bengaluru folks love, with all the details.
Local Bengaluru Flavours - Try our Kundapura Gudbud pastry - classic ice cream, now a pastry! We twist European bakes with Bengaluru style.
