About The Consultation: My Process & Philosophy
I never start a colour job without a full 15-minute diagnostic. We look at your skin undertone, your hair history, and your daily styling routine to decide if your hair can truly handle the process. If a shade requires too much maintenance or risks your hair’s health, I will be the first one to stop you and suggest a better, safer alternative.
Why I Consult First
Colouring hair is science, not just a trip to the salon. Whether you are dealing with the hard water in Gurugram or recovering from previous box dye, every client has a different story. My consultation process is designed to decode that story.
The Science of Your Shade
We don't pick colours based on a catalogue. I look at three specific factors:
- Skin Undertone: Are you cool, warm, or neutral? Choosing a shade that clashes with your skin makes your face look dull, while the right choice makes it glow.
- Hair Integrity: If your hair has been compromised by past chemical services, we might need a bond builder like Plex to protect the structure.
- Maintenance Reality: I am always upfront about how much upkeep a look requires. If you want a low-maintenance style, we will opt for techniques that respect your lifestyle and your hair's health.
Your Hair Journey
My goal is to be a partner in your hair journey, not just a service provider. We discuss everything from the difference between root shadowing and melting to how to wash your hair so the colour lasts. When you leave my chair, you shouldn't just love your hair—you should understand exactly how to keep it healthy and vibrant until your next visit.
