Bridal Makeup & Signature Looks
A personal collection of my favorite bridal transformations, ranging from luminous minimalist skin to radiant, high-energy glam.
For Tessa, it was all about skin that looked like skin. She wanted a minimal look with no thick layers, which is exactly my philosophy. I used just a touch of concealer and a custom BB cream I mixed for her, letting her natural beauty be the star. This is the magic of minimal makeup; it starts with healthy, happy skin.
A close-up of Tessa's reception glam. We went for a classic bold red lip and shimmering golden eyes that caught the light beautifully. It’s a timeless look that feels both elegant and celebratory, perfect for dancing the night away.
There is a unique poetry to Bengali bridal traditions. For my bride Archita, we focused on the iconic elements: the expressive kohl-lined eyes, the intricate bindi art, and the radiant glow, all framed by the betel leaves during the Shubho Drishti ritual.
I believe hair accessories should be as joyful as the event itself. This close-up shows the vibrant, handcrafted details we used for Aish's Haldi braid. The mix of colors and textures added such a playful and personal touch to her look.
This moment from Vasav's wedding feels like a painting. Her pastel lehenga and our soft, luminous makeup came together to create a look that was absolutely dreamy and ethereal. It was all about capturing her gentle grace.
For my lovely bride Ozlem's white wedding, we created a look of pure elegance. The focus was on soft brown tones to naturally enhance her features, paired with romantic, dreamy waves in her hair, perfect for her beautiful off-shoulder gown.
A moment of quiet before the Sangeet storm. This artistic shot of Sheena highlights the soft-glam eye makeup we designed. The subtle wing and warm shimmer were created to sparkle under the party lights while still feeling elegant and refined.
About this collection
Every look in this gallery begins with skin prep, not makeup application. I prioritize deep-hydration techniques using products like Embryolisse or Bobbi Brown to build a base that feels breathable rather than heavy, ensuring your natural glow stays fresh from the first ritual to the final reception dance.
My approach to bridal makeup is fundamentally about the 'skin but better' philosophy. Whether I am working on a traditional Bengali ceremony, a contemporary white wedding, or a high-energy Sangeet, the goal is always to enhance your features rather than mask them.
Why the approach works:
- Texture over Coverage: By using thin, buildable layers of international products like Charlotte Tilbury and NARS, I ensure the makeup looks like skin, not cakey foundation.
- Long-Lasting Performance: For destination weddings or all-day events, I focus on sweat-resistant HD bases that hold up under fire rituals and stage lighting.
- Customized Features: I don't follow a single template. If you want bold, kohl-lined eyes for a traditional look, we focus on that. If you prefer a soft, romantic finish with dreamy waves, we build the style around your outfit and comfort level.
I travel across India for destination weddings—from Jaipur to Goa—bringing the same kit and attention to detail that I use at my Mumbai studio. My goal is to make sure that when you look in the mirror before walking out, you see yourself, just a little more radiant.
