For Apoorva's Haldi, she wanted a very colorful look to match her theme. We created a fun eye makeup look using pink and blue, paired with a fresh, glowy base and a messy braid adorned with flowers for a Punjabi-inspired vibe.
Here is the final Haldi transformation for Tavishi. This timelapse shows how we built her soft glam look, which took two hours to perfect. The result is a radiant glow that’s perfect for her celebration.

It is all about giving you that 'khup chaan' (feels really nice) feeling while ensuring your look lasts from the first ritual to the last dance.

Haldi and Mehndi events are my favorite because the vibe is so relaxed. Unlike the heavy reception looks, these ceremonies call for something more playful. I love experimenting with pops of color on the eyes—like the pink and blue combos I did for Apoorva—to match the festive yellow or colorful outfits you choose.
Practicality Meets Style
I know these functions involve rituals like flower showers or sitting for hours getting henna applied. My goal is a look that doesn't just look good in the mirror but survives the chaos:
- Fresh & Dewy: Using products like MAC and Forever52, I build a base that catches the light without feeling cakey.
- Hair That Stays: Whether you want a messy braid with baby's breath or a loose, romantic ponytail, I secure everything so you aren't constantly adjusting your hair.
- Skin-First: If you have sensitive skin, I prep with careful CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) to ensure the makeup feels like a second skin, not a mask.
