A curated look at our most personal celebrations, where family heirlooms and local Indian crafts transform standard venues into storytelling spaces.

This serene mandap, set against the lush greenery of the venue, was designed to feel both grand and intimate. The simple elegance of the structure allows the natural beauty of the surroundings to become a core part of the decor, creating a perfect canvas for a sacred beginning.

This reception stage was one of my absolute favorites to create, centered around the bride's cherished tiger chairs. We built the entire backdrop around them, using her mother's treasured sarees and complementing them with antique tables, traditional brassware, and vibrant Channapatna crafts for a truly personal and show-stopping result.

For this evening reception, we created a magical atmosphere with a transparent tent under the stars. The design focused on clean white florals, a stunning arched backdrop, and layers of romantic fairy lights, proving that minimalist decor can be incredibly impactful and breathtaking.

It's the little details that tell the biggest stories. These charming parrots, handcrafted from leaves, and delicate lotus buds were key elements in a traditional South Indian wedding, adding a touch of whimsy and cultural significance to the floral arrangements.

When a bride dreams of a life-sized Christmas bow for her wedding entrance, we make it happen. This magnificent 12-foot bow was crafted from a patchwork of beautiful brocade fabrics, creating a festive and unforgettable welcome for guests.

Embracing the vibrant spirit of Coorg, we created this joyful marigold arch to welcome guests. Set against the raw beauty of the landscape, the bright orange blooms created a stunning visual pathway, celebrating nature and tradition in equal measure.

I believe in celebrating local artistry. This tablescape is a vibrant collection of hand-painted Channapatna toys, intricate brass artifacts, and colorful floral petals, creating a rich tapestry of texture and tradition that tells a uniquely Indian story.

To honor the couple's heritage, we designed this elegant entrance for a Bengali reception using traditional Bengal cotton Tant sarees. The iconic red and white fabric, paired with fresh greenery, created a culturally rich and beautiful passageway for the celebration.

From the vibrant marigolds of the Muhurtham to the laughter-filled Sangeet, this reel captures the beautiful energy of Prerna and Abhijeet's wedding. It’s a glimpse into how we weave together different events with a cohesive, joyful, and traditional design story.

Every design begins with a story. For this wedding, the bride envisioned a celebration woven from her mother's heirloom sarees, whimsical birds, and multiple unique backdrops. This mood board captures the initial spark of that incredible, sustainable concept.

About Featured

My design process starts with what you already own. We take items like a mother’s Kanjeevaram saree, antique furniture, or even childhood mementos, and build the entire wedding backdrop around them. This isn't about renting out standard kits; it’s about sourcing local Channapatna crafts or upcycled fabrics that turn your venue into a space that feels distinctly like your family home.

This featured collection brings together the core philosophy of my work: that a wedding is a story, not just an event. Whether we are styling an intimate ceremony in a Coorg resort or a large-scale reception at a Bengaluru hotel, my focus remains on weaving your personal history into the environment.

Why Personalized Decor Matters

When you walk into your wedding space, you should feel a sense of recognition. I move away from generic, plastic-heavy themes. Instead, I incorporate elements that matter to you. If your family has a tradition of using Channapatna toys or if you want to feature your grandmother's Tant sarees, we find a way to make those pieces the stars of the show.

The Eco-Friendly Approach

Sustainability is not an afterthought; it is the starting point. We utilize upcycled fabrics, bamboo structures, and locally sourced flowers like marigolds and chrysanthemums to reduce waste without compromising on visual impact. By working with local NGOs and artisans, we ensure that the beauty of your wedding supports traditional crafts rather than mass-produced inventory.

How We Work

  • Consultation & Storytelling: We begin by discussing your personal journey, your family traditions, and any specific memories you want to include.
  • Design & Sketching: From mood boards to floor plans, I map out exactly how we can transform your chosen venue.
  • Execution: My team manages everything from the carpentry of a custom mandap to the intricate placement of brass lamps and floating lotus flowers.

Whether you are planning a traditional Muhurtham, a vibrant Sangeet, or a modern reception, my goal is to create a setting that is authentic to you. If you are looking for a wedding stylist in Bengaluru or Kodagu who prioritizes depth over excess, I would love to hear your story.

I’m Natasha, and I founded Bling It On to change how we look at wedding decor. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter setups; I believe in taking your family’s stories—like using your mum's sarees as a backdrop—and crafting them into the heart of your celebration.
