About this collection
I design children's rooms to evolve. When I plan your layout, I prioritize rounded safety corners and scratch-resistant laminates that handle daily play, but I also ensure storage is reachable so your child can keep their own space organized as they grow.
Building for Growth
A child's room needs to change as they do. My approach starts with a 2D and 3D design phase where we look at the room's footprint. We plan for a study desk, a wardrobe, and a bed that won't feel outgrown in two years. I use BWR (Boiling Water Resistant) plywood for the skeleton of all furniture, ensuring that if a spill happens or things get rough during play, the structure holds up.
Safety and Customization
Every kids' room project I take on includes:
- Safety-First Fabrication: Rounded edges on all desks and beds and the use of non-toxic adhesives and finishes.
- Themed Elements: From starry false ceilings with LED backlighting to custom-shaped wardrobe shutters, we bring the themes they love into their daily environment without compromising on functionality.
- Smart Storage: I build wardrobes and overhead cabinets to maximize floor space, keeping toys and books accessible but off the ground.
