About Studio Portraits: Clean & Classic
In my studio, I use a consistent 3-point lighting setup to control shadows and depth, which creates a sharp, editorial look you cannot replicate outdoors. This setup is specifically designed to highlight fabric textures and facial features, whether we are shooting a professional headshot or a traditional saree portrait.
Studio photography gives us complete control. Unlike outdoor shoots where we are at the mercy of the sun, the studio allows me to manipulate light to define your jawline, sculpt your form, and ensure the colors of your outfit pop against a seamless backdrop. This is where we get the technical details right.
My studio sessions are focused and efficient. We typically spend 90 minutes to 2 hours working on your poses and expressions. I provide active direction on how to stand and where to look so you do not have to worry about looking awkward. For portfolio work, I also create specific expression grids to showcase your range. Whether you need a classic black-and-white headshot or a vibrant look in traditional wear, the process remains the same: we keep the environment clean and the focus entirely on you.
Every session includes high-end retouching where I focus on skin texture retention and blemish removal, rather than heavy filters that hide who you are. You walk away with a digital dump of color-corrected images and a selection of professionally retouched files that are ready for your portfolio or social media.
