When you come into my Basaveshwaranagar studio, we start by looking at your natural nails and discussing your lifestyle. Not every style works for every hand. If you type all day, we might go for a shorter, functional length. If you have an event coming up, we can go for something dramatic like a coffin or stiletto shape.
Why Sculpted Extensions?
I prefer the sculpted method over using pre-made plastic tips. By building the extension on paper forms, I can customize the structure to match your nail bed exactly. This creates a much stronger result that is less likely to lift or snap, giving you a wear time of 4 weeks or more.
Gel vs. Acrylic
I offer both acrylic and hard gel options, and I will always guide you on which one suits your natural nails better.
- Acrylic: Generally harder and more durable, making it excellent for clients who are rougher with their hands or have very weak natural nails.
- Hard Gel: Offers a more flexible, natural-feeling extension. It is often a great transition for people who want a lighter feel while still having length.
Maintaining Your Look
To keep your set looking fresh, plan for a refill every 3 to 4 weeks. During a refill, I remove the bulk of the old product, clean up the cuticles, and rebalance the structure.
