My Handmade Journey: The Heart of Bath & Being

Welcome to my studio. Here, skincare isn't just about bottles; it’s about slow rituals, botanical ingredients, and the quiet magic of creating something from scratch.

This is my Ajji, my grandmother, and my biggest supporter. I made this saffron and rose moisturizer just for her. Her joy reminds me why I do this: for me, handcrafting a gift isn't just about a product, it's a love language.

I started this journey in my kitchen, experimenting with wax and wicks. Today, I've sold over 5,000 candles. This is a little piece of my story and a reminder that every big dream starts with one small, brave step.

Hey you! I'm Pooja, the maker and mixer behind Bath & Being. What started as a love for all things natural has turned into my life's passion. Welcome to the family.

This is the propaganda I live by: slow mornings, green is medicine, and handmade things carry soul. These are the principles that guide every product I create and every part of my life.

Moisturizer, sunlight, and the sacred hands of a sister. This is the kind of care we weren't taught to ask for but deeply need. My products are made for these moments of gentle connection.

Skincare is better together. I love seeing my products become part of a shared ritual, a reminder that beauty is in the way we show up for each other.

We may be a small team, but we put a lot of heart into every step of the process. Thank you for supporting us and being part of the Bath and Being journey.

Handcrafting self-care is my love language to the world. It’s my way of sharing a piece of nature and a moment of peace with you.

A little behind-the-scenes reality of running a handmade skincare brand. It involves smelling like 14 essential oils, making body butter at 2 AM, and a whole lot of love for the craft.

Sometimes I have to put on my lab coat and get serious with the formulations. Here I am, in my element, mixing and creating.

About My Handmade Journey

People see the finished jar, but the reality involves smelling like 14 different essential oils, messy workbenches, and convincing myself that making body butter at 2 AM is perfectly normal behavior. Everything you see here is born from those small, chaotic, and deeply rewarding experiments in my studio. It is not factory-made; it is hand-poured, heart-filled, and real.
