I ditched the corporate 9-to-5 because I realized I didn't want to trade my time for stress. I wanted to trade it for scent, texture, and the quiet satisfaction of making things with my own hands.

The Philosophy of Slow

You’ll notice our stuff isn't 'perfect' by mass-market standards. It is organic, shifting, and deeply tied to nature. Whether it’s sourcing raw turmeric for face masks or figuring out the right emulsion for a body butter, I treat these ingredients like medicine. My Ajji (grandmother) is my biggest critic and my inspiration—if she’s happy, I know I’ve done my job right. She’s been my first tester for years.

When you support Bath & Being, you’re supporting a small team that genuinely cares about every single order. We aren't mass-producing thousands of units in a factory. We are batch-mixing, pouring, and hand-labeling in our Bengaluru studio. We’re dealing with the real-world constraints of natural ingredients—no synthetic preservatives means our products require a bit more love, but your skin will thank you for the lack of chemicals.
