How the process works

I know how stressful it feels to get those pleats right when you are already running late. My service is designed to make saree wearing chill, not a task. When you bring your saree to me in Mahadevapura, I set the lower and pallu pleats, iron them for a sharp finish, and pack them into a 12x15 inch travel-friendly box.

Why box folding matters

This compact folding is perfect for two reasons. First, it keeps your wardrobe tidy and organized, making it easy to see which saree is which. Second, it is a game-changer for travel. You can pack multiple pre-pleated sarees in your luggage without worrying about them getting crushed or losing their shape. When you reach your destination, just take the saree out, wear it, and you are ready in 5 minutes.

Safety for heavy silks and zari

I handle everything from everyday cottons and crepes to heavy Kanjeevarams. For bridal or heavy work sarees, I use cushioned mats during the ironing process to ensure that delicate zari, stones, or chamki designs are not flattened or damaged. I also apply extra-strong, rust-proof pins at the waist and shoulder to manage the volume of heavier fabrics, ensuring you feel comfortable and sorted throughout your event.

Getting your saree to me

If you are in Bangalore, you can drop off your saree at my studio or use a delivery app. If you are outside Bangalore, I accept courier shipments and can send them back neatly packed. Same-day service is available for local drop-offs if you have an urgent event coming up.
