About Ready-to-Drape: Pre-Pleating & Courier Service

Getting your pleats right shouldn't take forty minutes before an event. When I pre-pleat your saree, I do not just fold it. I calculate pleats based on your specific height and waist size, then use industrial steam-pressing to lock in those sharp, knife-edge lines. You get a saree that functions like a ready-to-wear skirt, holding its shape all day without needing constant adjustments.

Why Pre-Pleating Matters

Most people struggle with saree draping because of uneven pleats or fabric shifting after an hour of movement. Whether you are prepping for a wedding in Bengaluru or need a travel-friendly outfit for an out-of-town event, pre-pleating takes the stress out of the equation.

My Process

  • Measurement-Based Draping: I do not use a one-size-fits-all method. I look at your height, waist, and hip measurements to ensure the pleats sit perfectly centered.
  • Industrial Steam-Pressing: I use heavy-duty steam ironing to create those crisp, sharp pleats that do not puff up or look messy.
  • Structural Pinning: Rust-proof stainless steel pins are concealed within the pleats, providing a secure, architectural hold that lasts 6 to 8 hours.

Travel and Storage with Box Folding

If you are traveling, a standard hanger will not cut it. My signature box folding technique transforms your saree into a compact 14x18 inch square. This keeps the pre-set pleats completely intact inside your suitcase, preventing wrinkles and crush marks. When you reach your destination, you just open the package, drape, and you are ready in under two minutes.
