About Our Community & Supporters
We are not a traditional shelter with cages; we are a network of regular Bangaloreans—engineers, doctors, designers, and students—opening our homes to foster cats until they find their forever families. Every milestone we celebrate is a direct result of someone choosing to share a post, host a foster kitten, or donate towards a rescue mission. When you join this community, you are not just following an account; you are becoming part of the active rescue force that keeps our cloud shelter running day and night.
How Our Cloud Shelter Runs
Our 'cloud shelter' model is entirely powered by our community. Because we do not have a physical building, our capacity to save lives is defined by the number of volunteers who step up to foster.
Why Community Support Matters
- Fostering: This is our lifeline. When a volunteer offers a spare room or a corner of their house to a rescue, it gives a cat a safe space to recover from the streets. This is how kittens learn to trust humans and how adults learn that they are finally safe.
- Spreading the Word: Every share on social media increases the visibility of our adoptable cats. It helps us bypass the 'shop' culture and connects potential adopters directly with a rescue cat who fits their lifestyle.
- TNR & Rescue: Our community helps us spot cats in distress, monitor stray colonies, and execute TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) drives to control overpopulation humanely in Bangalore neighborhoods.
