About Epic Long-Distance Rides
Long-distance cycling is a game of endurance, but you do not have to tackle the 80km+ stretches alone. On these rides, we have a support vehicle (SAG wagon) trailing the group. It carries your extra layers, handles heavy spares, and keeps your water bottles stocked with electrolyte so you can keep the pace steady without worrying about the small logistics.
Whether you are eyeing your first century ride or looking for a consistent group to crush highway kilometers, our long-distance sessions are designed to keep you moving. We stick to a moderate to fast pace, typically averaging 20kmph or more, to ensure everyone covers the distance efficiently.
What to expect on the road:
- Route Planning: We focus on highways like the Bangalore-Mysore stretch and significant hill climbs. Routes are scouted to minimize traffic stress.
- Nutrition: We provide bananas, chikki, and glucose biscuits from the support vehicle to keep your energy levels high.
- Mechanical Support: Punctures happen. Our team carries basic tools, and if a repair takes too long, our support vehicle is there to offer a lift.
- Post-Ride Recovery: Every long ride ends with a solid meal stop. It is the best part of the day, where we share stories and recharge.
