About The Nandi Hills Challenge
Don't stress about the ascent alone. We ride as a tight-knit pack with a support vehicle tagging along, so you have somewhere to dump your heavy gear and someone to help if fatigue sets in or a chain drops. It is all about pacing yourself on those hairpin bends and making it to the top with the group, not finishing first.
Why the Nandi Climb Matters
It is not just about the stats. Nandi Hills is arguably the most iconic test for any cyclist in Bengaluru. Whether you are training for your first century ride or looking to improve your hill-climbing technique, the route tests your endurance, gear shifting, and mental grit.
How We Tackle It
- Support Vehicle (SAG Wagon): We do not leave you stranded. Our trailing vehicle carries your backpacks and spare tubes, giving you the freedom to ride light. If your legs give up or your bike needs a fix, we have got you covered.
- Pacing: We aim for a consistent, moderate pace. It is a group ride, not a race. We regroup at designated checkpoints to ensure nobody gets left behind on the steeper sections.
- Fueling: Hill climbs burn energy fast. We provide hydration and snacks on the go, with a solid, well-earned meal stop planned to keep morale high.
What You Need
You will want a road or hybrid bike in good working condition. Check your brakes before we start—the descent is fast and technical. Most importantly, bring a positive attitude. The view from the top is the reward, but the real fun is the shared struggle on the way up.
