A humorous take on what a "long drive" means to a true biker. Sometimes, all it takes is a full tank of petrol and a ride to Chikmagalur for a cup of coffee to make your day.

About On The Road: More Rides & Moments

When you ride with us, you are riding in a structured convoy with a designated Lead, Sweep, and Marshals—not just a loose group on the road. We keep the formation tight for safety and never encourage stunts. Whether you are on a morning run to the outskirts of Bangalore or a multi-day haul, our protocol ensures that everyone stays together, rides within their limits, and gets home safe.

For us at BMR, a ride is more than just turning the throttle. It is about the connection we build while on the move. Some might call us 'manarogikal' (people with a bit of 'crazy') because we will climb that hill just to get the perfect group shot, but that is the BMR spirit.

The BMR Way of Riding

We treat every ride as a family outing. Safety is non-negotiable, which is why we enforce strict gear requirements and convoy discipline. We don't race, and we don't show off; we ride to experience new sights and build new bonds—'puthiya kazhchakal kaanam, puthiya bandhangal srushtikkam.'

Where We Ride

Our portfolio spans from quick, 150km Bangalore breakfast rides—perfect for a reset after a long work week—to high-altitude expeditions like Khardung La and Umling La. We welcome all riders, whether you are on a nimble street bike or an adventure tourer.

Why Join Us?

  • Structured Support: Our Lead and Sweep riders manage traffic and junctions, so you can focus on the ride.
  • Mechanical Peace of Mind: We provide basic breakdown assistance and first-aid support during our organized runs.
  • Community: We are a family of over 500 members. You aren't just joining a ride; you are joining a brotherhood that celebrates Vishu and Onam together as passionately as we celebrate our miles.

If you have the itch to ride, you belong with us. No matter your skill level, if you have the gear and the passion, you're already one of us.

We are Bangalore Malayali Riders, but call us BMR. Since 2017, we've grown from a random Facebook post into a 500-strong family that lives for the wind in our faces and the next hill climb. We don't just ride to reach places; we ride to see new sights and make new bonds—'puthiya kazhchakal kaanam, puthiya bandhangal srushtikkam.'
