Space-Saving Furniture Designs for Compact Bangalore Homes
In a city like Bangalore, every square foot counts. I design multi-functional furniture that works as hard as you do, turning awkward corners into storage and small rooms into spacious living areas.
This video demonstrates one of my favorite multi-functional pieces: an armchair that easily unfolds into a comfortable single bed, perfect for guests in a small apartment.
A custom foyer unit I designed to keep the entrance tidy. It includes a cabinet with ventilated doors for shoes and a smaller section with open shelves for easy access to daily footwear.
This animation shows how a difficult corner in an entryway can be utilized with a custom diamond-shaped cabinet, which includes hooks for coats and a space for a robot vacuum.
A smart entryway design featuring a bench for seating, storage for shoes underneath, and a tall cabinet that rotates to reveal more shelving.
This video shows how I can transform a bay window area into a cozy reading nook with a comfortable seat, hidden storage underneath, and adjacent display shelves.
This unique console table was designed for an entryway, featuring detailed cabinet doors and a terrazzo top. It provides stylish storage right as you walk in.

About this collection
Many people think smaller furniture makes a room look bigger, but that usually just leads to more clutter. My approach is to build custom, full-height units that blend directly into your walls. By using sliding doors, integrated lighting, and hidden compartments, I help you keep your floor clear while actually maximizing your storage capacity.
When you are dealing with a standard Bangalore apartment layout, you rarely have space to waste. I focus on furniture that does double duty, so you aren't sacrificing comfort for storage.
The Entryway Problem
Most entryways are narrow and end up becoming a dumping ground for shoes and keys. I design foyer units that integrate shoe cabinets with ventilated doors, often including a bench for seating and hidden spots for a robot vacuum cleaner. It keeps the area tidy without making it feel cramped.
Bedroom & Storage Hacks
If you are tight on bedroom space, I often suggest platform beds. These aren't just for looks. The area underneath the bed is massive, and I build it out with heavy-duty drawers or even a walk-in closet space if the ceiling height allows. If you need a study area, I can integrate a floating desk by the window that disappears or functions as a vanity when you aren't working.
Why Custom Matters
Off-the-shelf furniture is built to average dimensions that rarely fit your specific corners or needs. My custom units, whether they are TV panels, lofts, or kid's bunk beds, are built to the exact millimeter of your room. We use quality BWR plywood and soft-close hardware because, in a small home, you are using these drawers and cabinets constantly. You need them to handle the wear and tear without the hinges getting loose or the finish peeling off.
