About Academy Life: Competitions & Events
These aren't just practice rounds. We simulate actual tournament conditions—with timers and strict protocols—so our shooters learn to manage nerves well before they step onto a state or national stage.
At BRSA, we believe a shooter’s skill is truly tested when the pressure is on. That is why we host regular in-house talent tests and friendly matches. It is one thing to hit the bullseye during a quiet practice session, but it is completely different when you have a clock ticking and a scorecard waiting.
Our competitions are designed to bridge that gap. For beginners, it is about getting comfortable with the environment and understanding the discipline required. For our competitive shooters, these events are rigorous simulations. We use electronic targets and follow standard federation rules to ensure the experience is as close to a real championship as possible.
We see these events as a family celebration, too. Seeing a junior shooter bag their first medal or an adult member shave points off their personal best is what we call 'Namma hemme'—our pride. Whether you are aiming for school-level CBSE events or looking to build a career in professional shooting, these competitions are the testing ground where you turn your grit into medals.
