About Royal & Heritage Romance
Shooting in historic locations like Amer Fort requires a precise plan. We usually start before sunrise to catch the golden hour light through the traditional jaali work without the typical tourist crowds. It is not just about the architecture but how your outfits complement the texture of ancient stone walls, which we carefully guide you on during our pre-shoot planning session.
When we plan a shoot at locations like a historic fort or a traditional haveli, the biggest challenge is finding the right light. Royal architecture is heavy with texture and shadow, particularly the intricate stone lattice work you see in our galleries. We prioritize sessions during the golden hour because that specific, warm sunlight filters through stone carvings to create a dreamy, painterly look that artificial flash simply cannot replicate.
We understand that the grandeur of a palace can often overshadow the couple. Our 4-person crew is designed to balance this. While the cinematic videographer captures the scale of the location with drone shots and wide angles, our candid photographer stays close to ensure your expressions, laughter, and interactions remain the focal point.
Whether you have a venue in mind or need help finding a hidden heritage gem, we travel across India to make it happen. You do not need to worry about the logistics of posing. We provide gentle direction for editorial portraits while keeping the rest of the session spontaneous and natural. If you are concerned about crowds, we work with you to pick off-peak timings or exclusive areas where you can have the entire courtyard to yourselves. Let us help you plan a session that feels like a classic period drama, entirely your own.
