For a 60th milestone birthday, I was asked to create a cake that told a life story. This two-tier design features a handcrafted fondant figure of the birthday dad enjoying his favorite things: chai, his puppies, action movies, and even Misal Pav.

A sprinkle of magic for a special birthday. This two-tier cake features an anti-gravity illusion with playing cards floating out of a magician's hat, complete with a cute fondant bunny and fresh flowers for a spellbinding surprise.

Dive into a magical underwater world with this two-tiered mermaid cake. Designed for a fifth birthday, it's decorated with pastel seashells, shimmering mermaid tails, and delicate bubble details, all crafted from whipped cream and fondant.

All aboard the Hogwarts Express! This magical cake brings the world of Harry Potter to life, featuring Platform 9¾, the iconic train, and beloved characters. It's the perfect centerpiece for any Potterhead's celebration.

A cake to celebrate a sacred milestone, this design was for a baby's Annaprashan, or first rice ceremony. It features a hand-sculpted baby topper in a traditional Bengali topor, surrounded by symbolic items like the Bhagavad Gita, fruits, and kheer.

A 50th anniversary is a golden milestone that deserves a truly grand celebration. I designed this elegant, three-tier eggless cake for my own parents' special day, combining classic white and gold with beautiful floral arrangements to create a timeless centerpiece.

This was one of my most exciting projects: a rotating Tom and Jerry carousel cake. It combines playful, handcrafted characters with mechanical movement to create a truly interactive and memorable experience for a child's birthday party.

Cakes for men can be both elegant and bold. This black and gold design is a statement piece, perfect for celebrating a milestone birthday with modern sophistication. Every detail, from the sharp edges to the gold leaf, is crafted to make an impact.

It was an honor to create this cake for baby Avyukt's Annaprashan, his first rice-eating ceremony. I carefully handcrafted each traditional element in fondant, from the baby in his topor to the Bhagavad Gita, to make this sacred milestone truly special.

For Ziann's First Holy Communion, I designed this three-tier textured cake to be as divine as the occasion. The soft pink and ivory tones, delicate florals, and gold accents create a sense of grace and celebration for this sacred milestone.

Mermaid themes are a favorite for a reason. This two-tier under-the-sea cake was created for a magical 5th birthday, complete with shimmering mermaid tails, pastel seashells, and edible bubbles for an enchanting ocean adventure.

My Story

Hey, I’m Pooja, the hands and heart behind Baker’s Delight. Life took a wild turn when I left teaching after 15 years, and baking just sort of happened—me and my daughter binge-watching baking videos, messing up the kitchen, laughing at our flops. No fancy chef school, just lots of trial and error and late-night experiments. Now, every cake I make is a piece of my story. Still learning, still grateful for every order and smile.
