About Weddings, Sangeets & Private Parties
For weddings and private parties, I need about 8 by 8 feet of clear, well-lit space and a basic PA system with a cordless mic to ensure my mentalism acts reach the back of the room. I arrive an hour early to set up my props and run a sound check, so everything is ready well before your first guest walks in.
When I perform at a wedding sangeet or a private family gathering, I change my approach. Unlike a corporate gala where I keep a bit of professional distance, weddings are about connection. I focus on mentalism that feels personal, like guessing the name of a loved one or revealing a thought from a guest.
For smaller groups, I suggest close-up magic. This means I walk between tables, doing card tricks and sleight of hand right in front of you. It breaks the ice instantly and gets everyone laughing. If you are planning an event in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, or Hyderabad, I am happy to travel to your venue.
Here is what you should consider before booking:
- Engagement Style: Do you want a stage show where everyone watches at once, or close-up magic where I interact with small groups? Both work well, but they change the dynamic of your event.
- Technical Setup: For stage performances, I need a simple PA system. You do not need a massive professional stage, but having that dedicated space helps keep the focus on the act.
- Customization: I love incorporating your event theme. If it is an anniversary, we can do a card trick revealing your wedding date. If it is a sangeet, we can build the magic around the couple.
Magic is live, so expect a little unpredictability. That is part of the fun. My goal is to make sure your guests are not just sitting there, but actually participating.
