About The Newborn Stage (0-3 Months)
The best time for these classic, sleepy newborn portraits is within the first two weeks after birth. During this phase, your baby is naturally more flexible and settled for those curled-up, angelic poses. Whether you want a minimalist, clean look or a full creative setup, I ensure the studio environment is warm, safe, and completely relaxed so we can work around your baby's feeding and nap schedules.
Why the 0-3 Month Window Matters
Newborn photography is all about timing. In these first few weeks, babies are in that deep, sleepy state that allows for those serene, curled-up poses you see in my gallery. After 3-4 weeks, babies become more alert and their stretching patterns change, making the classic 'womb-like' poses harder to achieve.
My Approach to Your Newborn Shoot
- Safety First: I prioritize your baby's comfort above everything else. My studio in Vasai is fully sanitized, and I use only soft, skin-friendly fabrics and gentle posing techniques that keep your little one secure and happy throughout the session.
- Studio or Your Home: I know taking a newborn out is a task. You can choose to visit my fully-equipped studio in Vasai West, where I have all my props and backdrops ready. Alternatively, I can set up a professional mini-studio at your home in Mumbai, keeping you and the baby in a familiar, comfortable space.
- Creative Themes: While classic, minimalist shots are timeless, I also love doing creative setups. From the little wizard in a library to a tiny pilot with a vintage camera, I provide all the props, outfits, and wraps. You just bring your baby, and we create the magic.
Planning Your Session
Life with a newborn is unpredictable—sab kuch achanak hota hai. That said, because I have a high demand for these sessions, please try to book 30-40 days in advance. If you have a specific weekend in mind, a 3-month lead time helps me guarantee your spot. Let’s capture these divine moments before they grow up too fast.
