Bespoke Furniture & Cabinetry

This collection showcases custom-designed furniture and storage solutions where functionality and material honesty are paramount. I work with repurposed teak, cane, and natural finishes to create pieces that are built to last and are tailored to the specific needs and character of a space.

The Lantana Initiative: Community & Ecology

This is more than just furniture design; it's an environmental and social project focused on turning Lantana camara, an invasive plant, into a resource. I develop furniture prototypes and building materials while teaching local artisans in Salem the skills to create a sustainable livelihood, helping to restore the region's biodiversity.

Adaptive Reuse & Material Innovation

I believe in giving materials a second life. This cluster highlights projects where salvaged items like old Mangalore tiles are repurposed as primary building materials, minimizing waste and celebrating the stories embedded in them. It showcases my process of rethinking conventional construction with sustainable alternatives.

Spaces for Living: The 'Aamra' Farmhouse

A comprehensive look at a residence designed for a food stylist and her family, where the kitchen is the heart of the home. This project is a case study in integrating architecture and interiors, using a palette of honest materials like concrete, brick, and upcycled wood to create spaces for leisure, creativity, and connection.

Thoughtful Renovations

I specialize in breathing new life into existing spaces by rethinking layouts and upcycling materials found on site. This cluster shows how even small interventions, like redesigning a foyer, can have a major impact when old doors and cupboards are transformed into new, functional furniture.

Commercial Interiors

My design principles of functionality and material honesty extend to commercial and retail spaces. For this project with Nalli Silks, I designed flexible and elegant fixtures to enhance the customer experience, creating a system that could adapt to different types of display needs.

Conceptual Explorations

Design is also a tool for asking questions and proposing new ideas. This section contains my conceptual work and competition entries, where I explore solutions to social and environmental challenges, from wearable architecture to living building facades.
