About Yoga Teacher Training Programs
We do not believe in mass-market certification factories. Our training is a residential immersion where you live, practice, and learn alongside our teachers on our organic farm. Because we limit our batches to small groups, you receive personal guidance on alignment, teaching methodology, and the subtle art of holding space for others, ensuring you leave with the practical skills to lead your own classes.
A Traditional Foundation
Our teacher training programs are rooted in the ancient lineage of Hatha yoga. Whether you are joining our 200-hour foundational course or the 300-hour advanced training, you will spend your days in the open air, often taking theory classes under the canopy of our fig trees by the Kabini river. This setting is not just for atmosphere; it is designed to help you connect the philosophy of yoga to the rhythms of nature.
What You Will Learn
Beyond perfecting your asanas, our curriculum focuses on the deeper aspects of the practice:
- Teaching Methodology: We teach you how to observe students, provide safe hands-on adjustments, and structure classes that are both balanced and accessible.
- Yoga Anatomy: Learn the mechanics of movement to prevent injury and promote healthy alignment in your future students.
- Philosophy & Meditation: We explore the Yoga Sutras and the practical application of meditation, pranayama, and yoga nidra.
- Ayurvedic Wisdom: Living in an Ayurveda ashram means you learn how food, daily routine, and elemental balance support your yoga practice.
Why Choose Our Ashram
Many graduates tell us that the most valuable part of their training wasn't just the certificate, but the community they found. You will share meals prepared with ingredients from our own farm, participate in puja ceremonies, and form connections with seekers from all over the world. We offer a space where you can unplug from the noise of city life and focus entirely on your growth as a practitioner and teacher. Our teachers bring over two decades of experience to the mat, guiding you with authenticity and patience.
