Anti-Smog Misting System Installation for Urban Areas
We deploy specialized misting technology to suppress urban dust and smog. Proven in Delhi by the DDA, our system integrates directly with existing infrastructure to improve local air quality.
This video shows my anti-smog misting system in action. I developed this technology to tackle severe urban air pollution, and this pilot project in Dwarka, New Delhi, shows how it works. In collaboration with the DDA, we achieved a 25% reduction in pollution, a result that was recognized by Delhi's Lieutenant Governor.

About Featured
Our misting system uses high-pressure industrial pumps to create a fine 10-20 micron water mist. This mist binds to dust and particulate matter in the air, pulling pollutants down to the ground. We use an integrated Reverse Osmosis plant to treat the water before it sprays, which prevents mineral buildup in the nozzles and ensures the mist itself remains clean. The entire setup mounts onto existing electric poles, allowing for installation without digging up roads or disrupting traffic.
How Our Technology Works
We designed this system to be a permanent, low-maintenance fixture for city infrastructure. The core unit consists of a 3-5 HP industrial triplex plunger pump that generates 70-100 Bar of pressure. This force is necessary to atomize the water into the micro-droplets needed to effectively capture urban dust. The automation panel, equipped with cyclic timers and dry-run protection, allows the system to operate autonomously, reducing the need for constant human supervision.
The Dwarka Pilot Project
In collaboration with the Delhi Development Authority, we implemented a 550-meter pilot run in Dwarka, New Delhi. By placing our nozzle manifolds on 14 existing electric poles, we created a continuous curtain of mist along a busy road. The results were verified in a real-world urban environment, showing a consistent 20-25 percent reduction in local pollution levels. This project demonstrated that we do not need heavy machinery to tackle seasonal smog; a targeted misting setup is often more effective and significantly less disruptive to daily city life.
Installation and Maintenance
We manage the installation end-to-end, including the skid-mounted pump room, electrical wiring, and the height-work required to mount our stainless steel risers. Our high-pressure PA12 nylon tubing and compression fittings are rated for long-term outdoor exposure. We believe in building systems that last, which is why we handle every detail from the RO water treatment to the final leak testing on every pole.
