How Our Anti-Smog Misting System Works
We apply our irrigation engineering to urban clean-air solutions. By spraying a fine mist of treated water, we effectively trap airborne dust and smog, clearing the air without wetting the road surface.
This is a close-up of the high-efficiency misting nozzle mounted on an existing city pole. This component is key to my dust suppression system, atomizing treated water into a fine fog that effectively clears pollutants from the air without causing significant wetting on the ground.
You can see the visible impact of the misting system along a roadside in Dwarka. The system creates a curtain of mist that targets airborne dust and smog from vehicular traffic, significantly improving the air quality in the immediate vicinity of the road.
This is the Misting Control Panel that operates the entire system. It allows for automated scheduling and management of the misting cycles, ensuring efficient water usage and consistent performance. The clear labeling demonstrates the straightforward operation of the irrigation and misting pumps.
About How Our Anti-Smog System Works
Our installation process is designed to be non-invasive. We use existing city infrastructure, mounting our stainless steel misting rings directly onto standard electricity poles. Because we integrate a dedicated RO plant to treat the water before it reaches the nozzles, the mist remains a fine, dry fog that captures pollutants without creating puddles on the ground.
Our anti-smog system functions through a 70-100 Bar high-pressure industrial pump that atomizes water into 10-20 micron droplets. These droplets create an effective curtain that attracts and weighs down particulate matter like PM2.5 and PM10. We developed this hardware after years of precision irrigation work, operating on the principle that consistent, automated performance is critical for infrastructure.
We recently partnered with the DDA in Dwarka to pilot this on a 550-meter road stretch. The trial successfully delivered a 20-25% reduction in local pollution levels, a result validated by local authorities. The setup is modular: the core machinery, including the pump and commercial filtration unit, sits in a secured pump room, while the pole-mounted rings handle the distribution across the span. Every system is managed via our industrial control panel, featuring cyclic timers and dry-run protection, so it operates efficiently without manual oversight.
