About The Art of Hairstyling
Most people struggle with hair that goes flat or gets messy within a couple of hours. I avoid common quick-fix hacks that just add surface volume. Instead, I use proper crimping and professional padding techniques to build a solid foundation, so your bun or braid stays secure, comfortable, and perfectly in place from the start of your event until the very end.
Great hairstyling isn't just about what you see on the surface. If the foundation isn't built correctly, a heavy bun will pull, or curls will drop the moment you step out into the Delhi humidity.
My approach at my Kirti Nagar studio focuses on hair theory and structure. For bridal looks, I prioritize secure pinning and balanced padding. If you are opting for a traditional look, I use real flowers like jasmine and roses, which require specific techniques to keep them fresh and attached throughout the ceremony. For engagement or reception looks, I specialize in Hollywood waves and textured updos, using high-quality professional tongs to ensure the wave pattern is glossy, uniform, and stays bouncy without needing excessive hairspray.
Everything I teach in my academy, I practice on my clients. Whether it is a fishtail braid, a sleek high ponytail, or a complex cut-crease eye look paired with a side-swept updo, the goal is the same: your hair should be the last thing you worry about. We also provide hair extensions to add volume if your natural hair is thin, ensuring the final style looks full and rich in every photograph. If you are unsure what style complements your face shape or neckline, I am happy to guide you on what will look best.
