Timeless Bridal and Groom Portraits
I focus on capturing honest, timeless portraits. I use my Sony and Zeiss setup to freeze real emotions... exactly as they happen. No heavy staging. Just the moment.
A classic bridal portrait against a beautifully blurred background. Using a Nikon 70-200mm lens, I created significant bokeh, making the bride and her stunning red lehenga the complete focus. The direct gaze creates a powerful connection.
Black and white photography strips away distractions, focusing on emotion and light. This smiling bridal portrait highlights the intricate diamond jewelry and the genuine happiness of the bride on her big day.
This vibrant bridal portrait was shot using a Zeiss lens on a Sony Alpha camera. The bright pink background complements the gold of her saree and jewelry, creating a lively and beautiful image that feels both modern and traditional.
This portrait was taken during the reception, using the warm, ambient light of the venue. The bride's expression as she adjusts her earring is a natural, candid moment captured with my Zeiss Otus 85mm lens for incredible sharpness.
The same portrait as the previous one, but rendered in black and white. This version emphasizes the form, texture, and emotion, offering a different, more classic mood that highlights the timeless quality of the moment.
A candid smile is often the most beautiful portrait. Here, the warm glow from the candles creates a soft, romantic light, capturing a moment of pure joy. The red roses in her hair add a touch of classic elegance.
I like to experiment with creative angles. This top-down perspective offers a unique view, emphasizing the bride's expressive eyes and the beautiful symmetry of her maang tikka. The vignette effect draws all attention to her face.
The bride's entrance is a grand and regal moment. I captured her entry under a traditional umbrella, using the lighting to create a majestic feel that highlights her poise and the significance of the ceremony.
About Bridal & Groom Portraits
For these portraits, I focus on capturing real skin tones and textures using my Zeiss and Sigma lenses rather than relying on heavy editing. I prefer to get the lighting and composition right in the camera, so what you see is exactly what happens in the moment.
My approach to wedding portraiture is rooted in a simple belief: the moment should be captured correctly at the shutter release. When shooting bridal and groom portraits, I avoid forced poses that feel stiff. Instead, I use my Sony Alpha system paired with Zeiss Otus 85mm and Sigma Art 35mm lenses to isolate the subject and pull out sharp details.
Whether we are at a traditional venue in Delhi NCR or a destination wedding elsewhere, my goal remains the same. I work with off-camera flash setups when necessary, ensuring the lighting highlights the intricate details of your jewelry, outfit, and expressions. This technique allows for clean, true-to-life color grading without the need for excessive retouching. You get natural-looking photos that prioritize authenticity over digital manipulation. This style works well for everything from intimate getting-ready shots to grand reception entrances.
