About Statement Rings & Earrings
When I design these pieces, my biggest challenge is balancing scale with comfort. You will notice the intricate prong settings on these cocktail rings; they are engineered to hold large emeralds or sapphires securely without adding unnecessary weight, so you can wear them all evening without discomfort.
My studio in Atria Mall is where these designs come to life. Often, clients come to me looking for a cocktail ring that feels like a conversation starter but is also wearable. That is why I lean into high-gloss polish and rhodium plating for that vintage finish, or focus on how the diamond halo sits to catch the light from every angle.
Whether it is a 7-carat round brilliant diamond cluster for a gala or a chandelier earring featuring deep rubies and emeralds, the aim is always the same: brilliance. We use natural diamonds ranging from 0.40ct to 1.00ct in these settings to ensure the ring looks significant on the hand. For the earrings, such as the cascade designs or pear-shaped morganite drops, I focus on how the piece frames the face. We combine princess-cut diamonds with pear-shaped stones to create movement. If you have an heirloom stone you want to reset or a specific gemstone like a Zambian emerald you have always wanted to wear, we can build a ring or earring set around it during our one-on-one design sessions.
