Being on the other side of the makeup chair changed everything for me. Here is a look at my personal engagement style and how I translate that comfort into my bridal work.

Officially off the market. This was from my own engagement, a day filled with so much love and happiness. I chose a soft glam look with a purple lehenga that made me feel like myself.

A photo with my everything. Being on this side of the chair has given me such a deep appreciation for what my clients experience, and I bring that empathy to every appointment.

A happy, candid moment from my engagement day. The makeup I chose was all about glowing skin and feeling comfortable, which is exactly what I want for all of my brides.

About My Own Journey

When I did my own makeup for this engagement, my priority was a base that felt like nothing was there. I used a mix of Charlotte Tilbury and MAC products to ensure a breathable, dewy finish that stayed fresh even while I was celebrating for hours. For me, the goal wasn't to look 'done up' but to feel like the most polished, radiant version of myself, which is exactly the mindset I bring to every bride I work with.

Choosing my own engagement look was a reality check. I realized that on your big day, you aren't just sitting still—you are laughing, crying, dancing, and hugging people. You need makeup that moves with your expressions, not a mask that cracks.

Why I chose 'Soft Glam'

I went for a soft, warm-toned look that complemented my purple lehenga without overpowering it. We focused on:

  • Skin-First Prep: Using vitamin-enriched bases to ensure my skin stayed hydrated, not oily.
  • Defined, Not Heavy, Eyes: I kept the liner soft and smudge-proof, focusing on enhancing my natural eye shape rather than changing it entirely with heavy lashes.
  • Comfortable Lips: I used a long-wear nude shade that didn't require constant checking in the mirror.

What this means for you

Being a bride-to-be myself in 2025, I truly understand the stress of finding the right vendor. Whether you want a no-makeup look for your Mehendi or a full-glam smokey eye for your Sangeet, I ensure the process is collaborative. We don't just pick a style from a mood board; we test it against your outfit, your venue, and, most importantly, your comfort level. My kit is packed with the same high-end brands I trusted on my own face—Bobbi Brown, Rare Beauty, and MAC—because I would never put anything on your skin that I wouldn't use on my own.
