Drawing & Illustration Basics: Learn to Sketch and Create
Before breaking the rules, you need to learn them. Let’s get back to basics with sketching, coloring, and finding your own artistic voice. No pressure, just progress.
Back to basics. Sometimes, it's all about picking up a pencil and working on fundamental sketching skills, like this awesome lion drawing.
The perfect combo: art through books. We love turning our favorite stories into colorful drawings, bringing characters and scenes to life on paper.
Look what you made me do. A young Swiftie in my class drew this adorable portrait of Taylor Swift, complete with her signature heart hands.
The life and choices of a 6-year-old artist in the making. This drawing was inspired by the book 'Isadora Moon', about a girl who is half fairy, half vampire.
A blend of seasons and ideas. These beautiful drawings of flowers and butterflies are filled with intricate patterns and vibrant colors.
We encourage drawing after a certain time because it helps kids settle down and focus on more tedious but rewarding processes, like this rocket ship and snowman.
Sticking our way to fun. These 'sticky stories' are a great way to combine drawing with stickers to create imaginative scenes and narratives.
Art projects that include drawing can be interesting and fun too. These underwater and jungle scenes are great for practicing drawing and coloring skills.
Endless opportunities to explore. Our classes cover drawing, coloring, painting, scissor skills, and more, all through fun and engaging projects.
Igniting creativity without mandate. Our drawing projects are designed to build skills without force, encouraging kids to learn with interest and create on their own.
About Drawing & Illustration Basics
We don't do rigid, boring lines here. Whether we are sketching lions or building underwater scenes with pastels, my focus is on understanding technique, like how to create depth, blend colors, and build confidence, all without the stress of making a perfect masterpiece.
Drawing isn't just about holding a pencil, it's about observation. In our sessions, we start with the fundamentals—line quality, shading, and proportion—but we do it through projects that actually interest you. We might study how to draw a rocket ship to understand geometric shapes, or break down a character from a favorite book to learn about facial features and expression.
I believe in building skills without the pressure. If you are a parent in Delhi NCR looking for after-school engagement that builds fine motor skills, this is it. For adults, it's a way to hit pause on the daily grind. I bring all the materials, from high-quality paper to blending stumps, right to your home in Sarvapriya Vihar or Friends Colony. We keep it real, messy, and consistently creative. Let's start sketching.
