Creative Art Workshops & Small Studies in Bengaluru
Sometimes the best art happens on small paper or during a relaxed Sunday workshop. Here is a peek into my little studies and the creative sessions I love hosting.
A glimpse into a workshop I hosted. I love teaching and sharing the joy of creating with others. It was a day filled with painting, laughter, and fun.
My home decorated for Diwali. I cleaned and decked out my space, which I call Pavana's Abode, and filled it with light and love. Making my own space beautiful is just as important as doing it for others.
A traditional rangoli with diyas for Diwali. Creating these small, beautiful arrangements brings me so much peace and gratitude.
A small watercolor and ink piece I created. I often experiment with zentangle patterns and watercolor washes on paper.
A closer look at the details in this mixed-media artwork. The combination of fluid watercolor and structured ink patterns is something I love exploring.
Another angle of my watercolor and doodle art. These small studies often inspire ideas for my large-scale mural projects.
About this collection
My Cubbon Park workshops are really just an excuse to hang out, paint, and breathe. We keep it beginner-friendly, so do not stress if you have not held a brush in years. It is not about the perfect painting, but about getting those colors on paper and laughing about the mistakes.
These small studies and workshops are where I test my ideas. Whether we are exploring loose floral watercolor washes or intricate Zentangle patterns, the goal is always to find peace in the process. I host these sessions outdoors at Cubbon Park because nature is the best muse.
Sometimes we do crochet hearts or doodling, and other times we just focus on color mixing. These sessions are open to everyone, whether you are a complete beginner or looking for a space to refine your skills. It is not about being a pro, but about taking a moment for yourself.
My smaller art pieces, like the ones you see here, often become the foundation for the larger murals I paint. Every big wall starts with a small sketch or a watercolor experiment. By looking at these, you get a sense of how I build my compositions and play with textures before taking them to a larger scale. If you are interested in attending a session or commissioning a small piece, reach out for the latest schedule.
Pavna
I am Pavna. When I am not painting big murals or teaching yoga, I am likely sketching or hosting a workshop. I love finding joy in the small stuff, like a watercolor wash or a doodle, and sharing that process with you.
