The Complete Ashram Wedding
Venue & Accommodation
- Location: Exclusive usage of Mahalakshmi Mantap (or similar hall) at Art of Living International Centre.
- Access: 12 to 16 hour rental covering Muhurtham and Reception.
- Stay: Approx 10 to 15 basic guest house rooms for immediate family (simple, non luxury).
Sattvic Catering
- Strict Diet: 100% Vegetarian, No Onion, No Garlic, No Alcohol.
- Service: Welcome refreshments, Sit down Banana Leaf Lunch, and Buffet Dinner.
- Cuisine: Authentic South Indian (Pongal, Puliyogare) and North Indian standards prepared in Ashram kitchens.
Vedic Rituals (VDS)
- Priests: Senior Acharya from Vaidic Dharma Sansthan plus 3 to 4 assisting pandits.
- Samagri: All puja materials, ghee, wood for Havan, and fresh flowers for rituals included.
Decor & Vibe
- Theme: Traditional spiritual setup using brass lamps, banana stems, and heavy fresh floral work (Marigold/Jasmine).
- Audio: PA system for mantras and Carnatic/Bhajan music support.
Off-Site Vedic Pandit Services
The Team
- Experts: 1 Head Acharya and 2 to 3 Assistant Pandits from VDS (Triveni/Bangalore).
- Authenticity: Rituals in Sanskrit with no shortcuts; adherence to full 3 to 4 hour Vedic timeline.
Ritual Scope
- Pre Wedding: Ganesha Homa and Sankalpa.
- Wedding: Kanyadaan, Panigrahana, Saptapadi, and Mangalya Dharana.
- Guidance: Team provides a strict material list (client procures perishables).
Client Requirements
- Travel & Stay: Client must pay for flight/train tickets and accommodation/meals for the pandit team separately.
Mass Wedding (Samoohik Vivaha)
Ceremony Format
- Shared Space: Spot in the main meditation hall or arena alongside other couples.
- Rituals: Collective Vedic rites led by VDS Pandits with simultaneous chanting.
- Blessings: Potential presence of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (subject to schedule).
Essentials Provided
- Attire: Standard wedding clothes (Saree for bride, Dhoti/Kurta for groom).
- Ritual Items: Basic puja materials and Mangalsutra/Thaali provided by the trust.
- Food: Mass community lunch (Prasad) for the couple and approx 5 to 10 guests.
Logistics
- Dates: Strictly fixed calendar dates (cannot be customized).
- Registration: Includes paperwork for the mass marriage certificate.

How We Host Weddings
- Two main options:
- Individual weddings at our peaceful Mahalaxmi Mantap, guided by Vaidic Dharma Sansthan and conducted with full devotion by learned ashram pandits. Every ceremony sticks to Vedic wedding rituals for that authentic feel.
- Samoohik Vivaha (Group weddings): Energetic, collective celebrations during times like Navaratri or Shivratri, often in Gurudev’s presence. Couples from everywhere join in this big, spiritual Indian wedding ceremonies.
The Setting & Traditions
- Bangalore ashram wedding venue gives a serene, spiritual energy.
- Beyond shaadi - we also do Karwa Chauth pujas and other traditional events.
- Decor leans on fresh flowers, brass lamps, banana leaves, and color combos from bold reds to soft whites. It’s all about keeping it pure and joyful.
