Additional Digital Artwork and Portfolio Sketches
A look into my sketchbook and early experiments, where I first started chasing colours and strange ideas. These pieces show where my journey with Photoshop began before I moved into hyper-realistic detail.
This is a fantasy piece I drew about 8 years ago when I was first learning digital painting. It shows my early interest in creating magical worlds with characters, glowing butterflies, and enchanted forests.
A digital portrait with a fantasy feel, featuring a woman with elaborate, stylized hair and clothing. I experimented with a very bright, high-contrast color palette in this piece.
This shows the fantasy portrait from the previous image framed as a piece of art. It gives an idea of how my more colorful and stylized work can add a unique touch to a room.
About Additional Artwork
These older sketches and experimental pieces are where I first learned to handle lighting and layers in Photoshop. Unlike my newer hyper-realistic commissions that require 100+ hours of rendering, these works were about finding my voice in fantasy, so they feel a bit more raw, playful, and less focused on perfect realism.
My early journey with digital painting wasn't about perfect skin pores or exact hair strands. Back then, it was all about the 'what if.' I spent years just trying to get Photoshop to understand the vision in my head—experimenting with glowing butterflies, enchanted forests, and high-contrast colour palettes that I wouldn't necessarily use in a grounded portrait today.
While these specific pieces in this gallery are not currently available for commission, they represent the foundation of my style. Every piece I draw today is an evolution of these early experiments. Whether I am working on a fantasy character or a complex surreal composition, the lessons I learned while making these—about composition, colour balance, and just letting the imagination run wild—are still at the heart of everything I do with my Wacom tablet.
If you see a style here that resonates with you, or if you have a dreamlike concept you want to bring to life, let me know. I am always curious to explore new ideas, and I am happy to apply this same creative approach to your custom project.
Agantuk
I’m Agantuk, and I’ve been glued to my Wacom for about eight years now. I started by sketching strange ideas and fantasy worlds, and that curiosity is still what drives my work today. If you want to see how I evolved from these early experiments to the detailed art I make now, have a look.
