Transform your favorite words into art. From spiritual mantras to personal daily reminders, I hand-letter each piece to bring meaning to your space.

This piece was a custom order to frame a handwritten quote that held deep personal meaning for a client. The words "Toh kya hua jo shaam aayi... Abhi toh raat aani baaki hai" are set against a subtle green watercolor splash, preserving a cherished sentiment.

A daily reminder to focus on the positive. This "Good Vibes Only" piece features playful calligraphy intertwined with pink watercolor flowers and green leaves, creating a joyful and uplifting work of art for your space.

A minimalist take on positivity. This "Awesome Vibes Only" artwork uses clean, simple calligraphy framed by hand-drawn green sprigs. It's a quiet but firm reminder to cultivate good energy in your home and life.

This piece celebrates the heart of any house. The quote "Family Makes This House a Home" is rendered in beautiful script over a vibrant, multi-color watercolor background, capturing the lively and colorful spirit of family life.

Inspired by a quote from "The Kite Runner," this piece, "For you a thousand times over," is a testament to love and loyalty. The words are woven between two watercolor roses, symbolizing devotion.

"Nirbhau Nirvair" (without fear, without hate) is a core tenet from Sikh philosophy. I set this profound mantra against a complex geometric pattern in gold and black to give it a sense of grounding and spiritual depth.

A tribute to Lord Shiva, this ink drawing features the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra. I wanted to capture a sense of profound peace and strength, combining a detailed portrait with the sacred text to create a piece for meditation and faith.

About Art That Speaks: Quotes & Mantras

Every quote piece starts with a conversation about what those words mean to you. Whether it is a mantra like 'Nirbhau Nirvair' or a line from your favorite book, I choose the ink, paper, and watercolor background to match the mood of the words, not just the decor.

Words carry weight, and seeing them on a wall can change how you feel when you walk into a room. My approach to quote art is grounded in that connection. When you reach out, we talk about the sentiment behind the phrase. Is it a gift for someone else, or a reminder for your own workspace? The answer guides my choices.

The Process

For every commission, I use high-quality 300 GSM watercolor paper. This is thick enough to hold the ink and watercolor washes without warping. For spiritual mantras, I often layer geometric mandalas in gold and black to provide a sense of structure and focus. For lighter, poetic quotes, I prefer a minimalist approach with soft floral accents or simple watercolor washes.

Each piece is mounted in a 0.75-inch synthetic fiber frame, available in black or dark brown. These are ready to hang immediately. Since everything is hand-lettered, no two pieces are identical. I provide a pencil layout for your approval before I commit to the final ink, ensuring the spacing and script style match your vision.

Why Hand-Lettered?

Digital prints are quick, but they lack the subtle variations of a brushstroke or the pressure of an ink pen on paper. My goal is to create a physical object that reflects the intention of the words you have chosen. Whether you are looking for a framed calligraphy quote for your living room or a protective mantra for your entryway, I aim to balance the typography with an aesthetic that complements your home.
