About Our Creative Community
In our sessions, we treat every smudge and stray line as part of the learning process rather than a mistake. This approach helps students move past the fear of perfection, allowing them to experiment with new mediums like charcoal or acrylics without hesitation.
At Arkin, our community spans from young students preparing for competitive entrance exams to adults exploring creative hobbies for the first time. We operate out of two spaces in Andheri West, specifically the Centre Square Building and Skylark Co-op Housing Society. Because our classes mix technical instruction with creative freedom, you will find students working on memory drawing for board exams sitting next to someone painting an abstract landscape for fun. This dynamic keeps our studio environment vibrant and distinct.
We focus on teaching the design thinking process rather than just following a set of instructions. Whether you are prepping for NID, NIFT, and NATA exams or looking for a weekend outlet to relax, our coaching is tailored to your goals. We avoid the pressure of rigid classrooms, ensuring that your growth is consistent and satisfying. Our instructors guide you through the basics of perspective, shading, and composition, helping you build a portfolio that reflects your personal style. We welcome students from all experience levels who want to develop their skills in a supportive setting.
