Spectra is the heartbeat of our street dance community. It is a two-month journey of training and creativity that culminates in an epic annual showdown featuring 1v1 battles and group showcases.

About Spectra Festival: Battles, Showcases & Community
Spectra isn't just a single event; it is a two-month training program designed to prepare you for the stage. If you are looking to join, keep in mind that our battle categories—ranging from 1v1 Hip-Hop to Afro and House—are supported by dedicated training batches. We keep these groups focused so that every dancer, whether you are entering a battle or a showcase, gets the technical feedback they need to hit the floor with confidence.
The Spectra Experience
What makes Spectra different from a standard performance night? It is the process. We believe that the real magic happens during the months of practice before the lights turn on. When you sign up for a Spectra batch, you are signing up for the grind—the sweat, the Afro and Hip-Hop foundation drills, and the collaborative choreography.
How It Works
- The Training Phase: For two months, you train with a specific batch. Whether you are in the Open Style group or prepping for a 1v1 battle, you are learning how to own the space.
- The Battles: We host 1v1 categories for Hip-Hop, House, and Open Style. These aren't just competitions; they are cyphers where you get to test your freestyle skills against the best energy in the room.
- The Showcases: This is where we tell our stories. We have blended street dance with everything from Indian cinema to themes of resilience, turning the auditorium into a live production.

Do I need to be a pro to participate? Not at all. We have batches for all levels. The goal of Spectra is to push you further than where you started, whether that is learning your first routine or sharpening your battle entries.
Where is this held? Training happens at our home base in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. The festival event itself moves to a larger venue to accommodate the stage production and the crowd.
What styles are featured? Our festival highlights Hip-Hop, House, Afro, and Open Style. We also love experimenting with fusions—last year we even mixed street dance with cinematic narratives.
