These pieces require a different construction technique than a traditional blouse. For our collared designs, we use specific canvas fusing to ensure the lapels stay crisp through a long event. When working with hand-painted fabrics, we select base silks that act as a stable canvas for the artist, ensuring the pigments bond correctly without bleeding.
