The vibrant red of this Banarasi Mashru silk saree is simply stunning. The silver rose motifs are woven directly into the fabric, creating a luxurious texture and timeless appeal for bridal or festive wear.

About Featured
When you select fabrics like my crushed shimmer georgette or heavy viscose velvet, you are picking the foundation of your final outfit. Please note that while our hand-embroidered Chinon and velvet pieces offer rich opulence, they require gentle dry cleaning to keep the Gota Patti and sequin work in perfect condition.
My collection focuses on fabrics that stand out because of their texture and quality. Whether you are a designer looking for specific yardage or an individual wanting to stitch a unique outfit, these materials are chosen to handle different styles of embroidery and draping.
Material Breakdown
- Viscose Makhmal Velvet: This is my go-to for heavy winter wear or heirloom-style lehengas. It has a plush pile and takes embroidery very well, which is why I often pair it with net fabrics for dupattas.
- Chinon with Gota Patti: If you need something for festive or wedding wear, this is it. The base is flowy and easy to pleat, and the Gota Patti work provides that traditional Indian sparkle without being too heavy to wear for hours.
- Shimmer Foil Georgette: I use this for dramatic silhouettes like capes, jackets, or sarees. Because it comes in a 52-inch width, it is much easier to manage for flared garments without needing too many joints in the fabric.
- Jacquard and Silk: For structured dresses or co-ord sets, the crepe jacquard offers a beautiful leaf motif that looks elegant without needing extra embellishment. My Mashru silk sarees are also sourced specifically for their natural luster and soft drape.
How to Choose
If you are confused about which fabric to pick, think about the final garment. For flowy, flared outfits, go with the Chinon or Georgette. For structured kurtas, lehengas, or heavy bridal wear, the Jacquard and Velvet are your best bets. Most of these fabrics come in 44-inch widths, so plan your yardage accordingly.
