Custom Hand-Painted Portraits from Mumbai
I turn your favorite memories into hand-painted keepsakes. Whether it is a merged family photo or a portrait of your pet, I bring your moments to life with acrylics on canvas or wood.
This is one of my favorite and most challenging pieces. I combined photos of five beloved dogs into one big, happy family portrait on a large canvas. It’s moments like these, seeing them all together, that make my job the absolute best.
"Can you add our baby to this photo?" HELL YES! This was a rush order for a client working abroad who wanted to surprise his wife for her birthday. I merged photos to create their first family portrait and got it delivered in 36 hours. It was a challenge, but so worth it.
Capturing the pure joy of a wedding day is such an honor. I loved painting this moment of celebration, turning a beautiful photo into a timeless keepsake that the couple can cherish forever as a piece of art in their home.
Some bonds are just so pure. This portrait of a man and his best friend was painted on a rustic wood slice, which adds a warm, natural feel. I focus on capturing the quiet, loving moments that mean the most.
This portrait was a special commission from two daughters living abroad for their parents' 70th birthday. I merged several different photos to bring the whole family together and added a scenic background with their mom's favorite flowers to make it extra personal.
Look at that happy face! Getting the details just right is my obsession. For this golden retriever, Tofu, I used layers of acrylic paint to capture the softness of his fur and the joyful light in his eyes.
It's not just about dogs. I absolutely love painting cats too. Here’s a look at how I brought Lyla, a beautiful kitty, to life on a round canvas, complete with a background of her namesake pink roses.
From my small studio in Mumbai, my art has found homes all over the world. It makes me incredibly happy to know that these hand-painted memories are being cherished in so many different countries and cities. I ship worldwide, so no matter where you are, we can create something special.
About Featured
I don't just paint what you send; I build the scene. If you have a group photo where someone is missing or a blurry shot that needs restoration, I can merge subjects from different images or recreate the background entirely. Before I touch a brush, we approve a digital layout together, so you know exactly what is going on the canvas.
How We Make It Happen
Every piece starts with your photos. Whether you want a realistic pet portrait, a family keepsake, or a memorial piece, I work with you to get the composition right.
Merging and Customization Don't have that perfect group shot? No problem. I often merge family members or pets from different photos into one cohesive scene. I can even change the background to match your home decor or a favorite memory.
Choosing Your Medium
- Rustic Wood Slices: These 4-6 inch natural wood pieces are perfect for single-subject headshots. The bark edge adds a lovely, organic texture to the artwork.
- Classic Canvas: For a more traditional, detailed look, I use archival cotton canvas. These range from 8x10 to larger statement pieces (18x24+ inches) for group portraits.
The Process Once we agree on the layout, I create a preliminary digital sketch on my iPad. You approve this before I start painting. I use heavy-body acrylics for texture and depth, especially when capturing fur or fabric. Every painting is finished with a satin varnish to protect against UV and dust, ensuring your memory lasts for years.
I handle everything myself, from the first sketch to the final packaging, so please reach out if you have a specific deadline in mind. I ship worldwide, so even if you aren't in Mumbai, we can get your portrait to you safely.
