DIY Art Pop-Ups & Flea Market Workshops
Swing by my stall to pick up a brush and get creative! Whether you're a complete beginner or just want to try something fun and messy, my drop-in workshops are all about that relaxed, artistic vibe.
This video captures the fun of my live workshop sessions at a bustling flea market. I provide all the materials, from the wooden coasters to the paints, so you can just sit down and let your creativity flow. It’s a hands-on art experience for everyone.
Setting up my stall is always an adventure. Here you can see my full range of art products, from custom portraits to illustrated notebooks, displayed alongside the DIY workshop station. It’s a great way for people to see my work and then try making some art themselves.
About DIY Art Pop-Ups & Flea Markets
I know walking up to an art stall can feel a bit intimidating, but my pop-ups are designed to be the complete opposite. You don't need any prior painting experience or a steady hand to make something you’ll actually want to take home; I keep everything simple, provide all the materials, and walk you through every step so you can just enjoy the process.
Why Join a Pop-Up Workshop?
I started these sessions because I wanted to move my art out of the studio and into the real world. You might have seen me at The Lil Flea or other local Mumbai markets where I set up shop. The goal here isn't to create a masterpiece that takes hours; it's to give you a 15-20 minute creative break where you can relax, get a little paint on your hands, and walk away with a souvenir you made yourself.
What We Usually Create
- Fluid Art: We use acrylics on MDF coasters or small canvases. It is super satisfying to watch the colors mix and move.
- Mini Easel Painting: Perfect for beginners who want to try their hand at basic landscapes or abstract designs.
- Custom Souvenirs: Sometimes we do fabric painting or tote bag art, which is great if you want something useful to carry home.
Practical Details
- No Experience Needed: I provide all the supplies, including aprons and gloves, so you don't have to worry about the mess.
- Drop-in Style: No strict timing. You can walk up, grab a seat if it's free, and start painting whenever you're ready.
- Flexible Sessions: While these are usually casual sessions at markets, I can also bring this same 'flea market vibe' to private birthdays or office events. If you want a fun, low-pressure art activity for your guests, this is it.
