A glimpse into my portrait workshop, where I demonstrate how to create a likeness of the actor Ranveer Singh. The process involves careful layering and shading to capture his distinct features.

This video shows the process of creating a portrait of Aishwarya Rai, from the reference photo to the finished mehandi art. It's a reminder that every line, no matter how small, takes years of practice to perfect.

A finished portrait of the actor Kartik Aaryan. This piece showcases the shading techniques I teach to create realistic hair texture and facial contours, bringing the portrait to life.

A time-lapse of me creating a portrait of Ranveer Singh. This is a great example of the focused, detailed work that goes into every portrait, a skill I am passionate about sharing with my students.

A finished portrait of the actor Sumedh Mudgalkar, who perfectly embodies the face of Shree Krishna for many. This was created during a portrait workshop to celebrate his work and as a devotional piece.

A beautiful example of portrait bridal mehandi for a happy client. Incorporating the faces of the bride and groom into the design makes the mehandi an incredibly personal and cherished keepsake of their wedding.

Mehandi for the groom. This design features a portrait of his beautiful bride on one hand and her name on the other, a sweet and romantic gesture that I was happy to create for him.

About Portraits: Capturing Likeness in Henna

Portrait mehandi is less about drawing lines and more about capturing a feeling. Whether I am crafting a realistic portrait for a bride's palm or demonstrating shading techniques in my workshop, the goal is always the same: getting the eyes and smile just right. It is a slow, meditative process that requires steady hands and a lot of practice.
