About Festive & Gifting Hampers
The biggest challenge with hamper photography is avoiding the clutter trap. When you have ten different products in one box, the eye often doesn't know where to land. I solve this by using specific depth-of-field techniques and layer-by-layer styling, ensuring the hero items stay sharp while the packaging details and labels remain clear for the customer.
I treat every hamper as a layout project. Whether it is a corporate box for a brand like Swageasy or a bakery collection for Mr. Brown, the goal is clarity.
My Approach to Styling
I do not just take a picture. I plan the arrangement so that labels, textures, and premium packaging are immediately visible. For festive shoots, I integrate seasonal elements like marigolds, diyas, or dried pampas grass that enhance the mood without distracting from the actual products.
Lighting and Execution
Bad lighting kills hampers. I use high-key studio setups to ensure even illumination across the box, which is vital when you have items at different heights. If you are selling hampers online, the viewer needs to see exactly what they are paying for, not guess behind shadows.
Technical Delivery
My process includes deep-etching and precise color calibration. If your hamper box is navy blue, it needs to look navy blue on the screen, not black or purple. I provide high-resolution files (300 DPI) and web-optimized JPEGs that are ready for your website, social media, or print catalogues.
I shoot at my studio in Sector 52, Noida, but I am equipped to travel across Delhi NCR for larger batch shoots where studio access is not possible.
