When we design a look for a shoot, I always coordinate directly with the photographer and the clothing stylist to ensure the textures of the makeup, whether glitter, matte, or gloss, balance perfectly with the lighting. It is about making sure the makeup enhances the outfit, not fights with it, so the final frame is clean and camera-ready.
My Approach to Editorial Makeup
Makeup for the camera is a different beast than makeup for an event. It requires an understanding of how light interacts with skin, texture, and color. My work focuses on bridging that gap, using professional techniques to ensure the result looks crisp in a raw image.
Why Creative Collaboration Matters
Great shots happen when the team is in sync. I work closely with photographers and fashion stylists in Delhi and Noida to break down the concept before I pick up a brush. If the mood is avant-garde or high-fashion, we focus on graphic liners, bold pigments, and structural elements like crystals or sequins. If the goal is a commercial catalogue shoot, we prioritize skin quality, clean lines, and neutral tones that allow the clothing to shine.

My background includes intense training under global artists like Makeup by Mario and Ilaha Hajiyeva. This training allows me to adapt my kit and application style to the specific needs of the day:
- High-Fashion: Playing with unconventional materials and bold, non-traditional color palettes.
- Ethnic Catalogues: Focus on glowing, hydrated skin and soft definition that complements traditional textiles and jewelry.
- Commercial/Video: Ensuring the makeup is durable and balanced for video lighting, which can often be harsher than static photography lighting.
My goal is to give you a result that requires minimal retouching, allowing the final images to feel authentic and professional.
