Unique Handmade Macrame Ring Bags

I have been working with macrame since 1992, and these ring bags are a passion project for me. They are quite different from the standard tote bags I make. Instead of trying to pack your entire world into them, these are strictly for your phone, cardholder, keys, and a little lipstick. They are meant to be a fashion statement.

Why my bags are different

Because I am the manufacturer, I pay attention to the little things. The circular shape is maintained by a rigid perimeter frame. Most people worry that macrame will stretch or items will fall out, but I solve this by lining every bag with a fabric pouch. You get the boho look on the outside, and practical security on the inside.

How I make them

I use square knots and double half hitch knots to create the texture. The strap is a braided macrame cord, integrated into the body of the bag so it feels sturdy when you wear it as a crossbody or sling. Each piece is handmade, so if you notice a tiny quirk in the knotting, that is just proof it came from my workshop and not a factory machine.

Customization
