About Collector's Edition & Statement Pieces
I build these pieces to be dynamic. Take the Akoya pearl bracelet in this gallery; it flips to become a choker with a simple adjustment. You get two designs in one, held together by secure, hand-fitted mechanisms rather than mass-produced springs.
When you buy a piece from my Collector's Edition, you aren't buying a trend. You are buying an investment in individual expression. I avoid mass production because repeating a design ten times turns it into stock. I want my jewellery to feel like art.
Why These Pieces Matter
Everything here is shaped by hand in my Girgaon studio. I work with 18k gold and high-grade natural stones—Burmese rubies, Zambian emeralds, and South Sea pearls. You will notice the difference in weight and light play immediately. For example, the rose-cut diamonds used in my kadas provide a vintage, flat-cut depth that standard brilliant cuts simply cannot match.
The Engineering Behind the Beauty
Luxury is in the details, not just the volume of gold. Many of my statement pieces feature convertible mechanisms. Whether it is a pendant that opens with hidden magnets or a ring that transforms into a bracelet, these are functional designs meant to be worn in multiple ways. This adds actual utility to your collection, allowing one piece to serve different occasions.
Making It Yours
I do not display these pieces in a crowded retail setting. I prefer one-on-one viewings where you can handle the jewellery, feel the movement of the hinges, and understand the provenance of the stones. If you see something here that speaks to you, or if you want to explore a similar concept using your own heritage pieces, let's talk. We can discuss how to adapt these motifs to fit your personal style.

I am Utsav. I don’t believe in mass-producing jewellery because then it is just stock, not art. When you choose a Collector’s piece, you are wearing something I have personally shaped to tell a specific story—yours, not a trend.
