Honestly, the secret to long-lasting nails isn't just the polish, it is the prep. I use a professional E-file manicure technique to clean up your cuticles and smooth the nail bed before applying any gel or acrylic. This isn't just about making them look pretty for the photo; it is about ensuring the extensions are structurally sound and don't lift after a few days, keeping your natural nails underneath healthy.
When you come into my studio in CR Park, we start by discussing your lifestyle. If you type a lot, work with your hands, or just want something low-maintenance, I will suggest a different shape or system than if you are getting ready for a wedding or a special event.
The Techniques I Use
- Soft Gel Extensions: These are my go-to for a natural look. They are thin, flexible, and feel very light on the natural nail.
- Acrylic Extensions: If you are looking for length and extreme durability, acrylic is the way to go. It is harder and great if you have a habit of being rough with your nails.
- Blooming Gel & Chrome: These are trending for a reason. Blooming gel creates that soft, dreamy, watercolor effect, while chrome gives you that high-shine, futuristic finish that looks amazing with any outfit.
